The dance team competed in the Small Varsity Jazz and the Small Varsity Hip-Hop categories and advanced to the finals with their Hip-Hop routine. Competing against 60 other teams, the team finished tenth nationally- the best they have ever done.

With this win, the team kept East Haven from qualifying for the state tournament and now leads the series 38-32-4 all-time. Most other fall sports wrapped up in late October
