As the school year turns to October, many members of the BHS community may have already had the opportunity to meet all the new teachers and staff at Branford High School. To help introduce the new staff to BHS, The Branford Buzz began featuring the new teachers earlier this month. The Buzz has been publishing Q & A interviews with all the new staff members and this is the final installment of the series.
Today’s feature is on Ms. Bridget Grenier, who is a social studies teacher.
Why did you become a teacher?
Because I love being with kids and I’m very passionate about history and what it can teach us about the present and future
What is your background and how did you end up here at BHS?
I taught for 3 years in Norwalk but recently moved to Hamden and got this new job in Branford
What do you like about BHS?
I love the school spirit!
Tell me about your family or your interests.
I live at home with my partner and our dog Daisy. I’m big into reading and doing puzzles
What is a favorite book, song, movie, or TV show and why?
My favorite show is RuPaul’s Drag Race because I love the creativity and fashion and how much it uplifts the LGBTQ community.
